Conference Moderator and MC in Dubai*
Dubai-based moderator, interviewer and MC. Two decades anchoring live for Bloomberg Television and CNBC, now on summit stages across the city in English and Arabic.
Why Dubai
I spent years covering this city’s economy on air every morning. When I walk onto a Dubai stage, I already know the story your speakers are part of.
From 2016 to 2024 I presented Bloomberg’s Middle East morning show from its studio in the Dubai International Financial Centre, covering the banks, the airline, the property market and the regulators. A minister or a chief executive answers differently when the first question shows the moderator has done the reading.
More than 800 events hosted and 2,000 leaders interviewed, including Tim Clark of Emirates Airline and Mariam Almheiri, then UAE Minister of Climate Change. I moderate in English and host bilingual English and Arabic programmes.

Formats
01
Conference and Summit Moderation
I hold a full-day or multi-day programme together: openings, transitions, speaker introductions and timekeeping, so the agenda finishes when you planned it to.
02
CEO Fireside and Keynote Interviews
One guest, one conversation, 20 to 40 minutes. I prepare the way I did for television and ask the question the audience came to hear answered.
03
Panel Facilitation
Four or five voices and limited time. I keep the discussion moving, bring in the quieter panellists and stop anyone giving a second keynote.
04
Awards and Gala Hosting
A long running order, sponsors to credit and a room that wants dinner. I keep the pace up and the names pronounced correctly.
05
Private Board and Investor Dinners
Closed-door sessions for banks, family offices and funds, often under the Chatham House Rule.
